    OREA WAVE FILTERS

Brewing the Orea V4 dripper with a wave filter will allow the folds of the coffee filter to press up against the walls of the Orea dripper, this lifts the filter and coffee bed up away from the walls increasing bypass and flow rate while decreasing extraction.
This creates a much faster draw down and in recipes is often compensated by increasing the stages of pouring and grinding coffee finer, this creates a unique tasting cup of coffee.

    SIBARIST FLAT FILTERS

The Orea V4 Dripper is versatile and can be used with most wave style filters but more recently the flat filters and round flat circles filters have gained popularity.

Flat filters hug the walls of the Orea dripper and create a seal around the edges of the dripper, contrary to wave style filters that have the opposite effect.

Because of this they offer an slower flow rate and lower bypass, but by using the Sibarist Fast Flat Filters you can increase the flow rate making your Orea dripper the fastest flowing dripper.

Simple, FAST & Easy To Brew

OREA V4 Coffee Dripper is a 4 in 1 pour over coffee brewer. Available in a Narrow or Wide dripper both of which have swappable bases that can adjust the flow rate and interacts with the filter paper differently.

Making your Orea V4 the most versatile flat bottom brewer available.

NARROW vs WIDE

Geometry of the Orea coffee dripper impacts the characteristics of the brew and your coffee brewing experience. While we like them both, there are some differences between the two.
