Your favourite coffee canister paired with your favourite espresso blend, the Airscape is a no-frills solid stainless steel canister with an internal plunger that can be pushed down to remove extra air.
This is super important because air increases the rate your coffee ages and goes stale. By keeping your coffee beans inside an Airscape you sheild your coffee from light, air, moisture, and the thick stainless steel insulates your coffee from ambient temperatures. All of these variables accelerate the rate your coffee ages and looses it's freshness.
Airscape Size:
The Airscape is available in 4", 7" and 8" sizes to accommodate different volumes of coffee beans. This bundle is for the 8" Kilo Airscape and comfortably holds 1kg of coffee beans (with a little space to spare).

Keep Coffee Fresher For Longer
Air, Light, Temperature and Humidity all increase the rate your coffee looses it's freshness. By storing your coffee beans correctly you're able to keep drinking tasty coffee for longer.
What Ages Coffee?
-
Air
Air has the biggest impact on how your coffee ages, constant exposure to air accelerates oxidation of coffee beans, causing coffee to go stale and develop unpleasant flavours.
-
Light
Light is a contributing factor to ageing your coffee beans, by sheilding your coffee from light (in particular sunlight or indirect light) will help keep your coffee fresher for longer.
-
Moisture
Roasted coffee beans are porous and hygroscopic (they absorb moisture from the air). When exposed to humidity, they absorb water vapour, which speeds up ageing.
-
Temperature
Keep your coffee in a cool and dry space within your kitchen. For long term storage consider freezing your coffee beans.
