The Varia Smart Control Temperature Kettle is Varia's newest kettle for pour over coffee, it is an egonomically designed kettle ideal for brewing coffee and with built in temperature control and a digital display this kettle is nothing short of key features.

The Varia Smart Control Temperature Kettle takes only 5 minutes to heat water from room temp - 100ºc and the variable temperature control allows you to set the kettle anywhere between 60°C – 100°C. The 360º Rigid Base allows it to rotate the kettle freely on the base, while the gooseneck pouring spot enables you to pour water precisely where you want it and at the exact flow rate.

This kettle features a 1L capacity and the LED display shows temperature and water level so you always know what's going on. Ideal for coffee as well as tea lovers, it will soon become your go-to kettle for all your hot water needs.

Generally Pour Over and Filter Coffee have a water to coffee ratio of 1:15.
Although it is important to know that some coffee tastes better at a lower or higher ratio and that numbers are just a guide.
POUR OVER BREW TIME
Depending on a range of different factors your pour over coffee might be really quick and only last 1 minute or can last up to 10 minutes. Most pour overs generally take around 2-4 minutes and consistently long pour overs may be a result of stalling.
