The UFO Dripper V3 02 is a pour-over dripper built around a wide 80º internal angle and an air-channel system, designed to make extraction easier to control and repeat from brew to brew.
The V3 builds on the V2 rather than replacing it, these changes are focused on flexibility rather than the core brewing character. The base is now detachable, and it's built to sit directly onto a HARIO Switch base, so the V3 can switch between standard percolation and immersion brewing depending on how you want to control contact time.
The air channel system has also been opened up for more airflow, giving a faster drawdown than the V2. What hasn't changed is the part that defines how the UFO tastes: the same 80° internal angle and Tritan construction carry over from V2, so cup character stays consistent between the two versions, the V3 just gives you a larger area (up to 300ml in this Size 02) and more brewing options around it.
It's made from Tritan, a BPA-free plastic that conducts heat less readily than metal or glass, which helps the brew bed hold its temperature more steadily through the pour.

UFO V3 Dripper Features:
- Wide 80° internal angle: increases contact time between water and coffee and keeps the coffee bed saturating evenly, so results stay consistent even as you change dose or recipe.
- Integrated air channels: used in place of the traditional rib design. They stop the filter paper from sealing against the wall, which helps maintain steady airflow and reduces clogging or stalling during drawdown.
- Tritan construction: BPA-free and lightweight, with low thermal conductivity to help maintain a stable brewing temperature.
- Larger Size 02 chamber: up to 300ml capacity, giving more flexibility for different doses and serving sizes.
- Durable, everyday build: suited to both daily brewing and travel.

POUR OVER RATIO
Coffee Ratio CalculatorGenerally Pour Over and Filter Coffee have a water to coffee ratio of 1:15.
Although it is important to know that some coffee tastes better at a lower or higher ratio and that numbers are just a guide. -
POUR OVER BREW TIME
Depending on a range of different factors your pour over coffee might be really quick and only last 1 minute or can last up to 10 minutes. Most pour overs generally take around 2-4 minutes and consistently long pour overs may be a result of stalling.
-
WATER FOR POUR OVER COFFEE
Water For CoffeeThe hotter your water is the higher amount of extraction will occur. Put simply, this is all you need to know but when it comes down to dialling-in your coffee you can change your water temperature to change the flavour of your coffee.
-
BREW METHODS
Grind Size For Every Brew MethodThe method, technique and overall recipe you use to brew your pour over coffee is known as your 'Brew Method'.
Depending on how many pours your use, the level of agitation when pouring and the brewing equipment you use will all determin how your coffee will taste.
