The Huila state is one of the best coffee producing areas in Colombia. The farmers here have great practices and Huila's microclimate has ideal conditions for growing specialty coffee.
In 2010, their coffee won first place in the Specialty Coffee Association of America Coffee of the Year competition, and they have never stopped producing great coffee.
You can expect a creamy mouthfeel and a soft delicate cup of coffee.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER:
Yolanda Samboní has owned the Buenavista farm with her husband Carlos Imbachi for over 30 years.
The farm is located at 1,800 meters above sea level near the town of San Augustin in Huila, at the very south of Colombia. The family grows the Caturra variety of coffee.
