NEW Matte Black Origami Dripper

Origami recently released their newest porcelain origami dripper, the Matte Black Origami Dripper available in small and large we have limited stock for this limited edition of pour over drippers. But whats the difference compared to the original Origami Drippers and is it worth grabbing one for yourself?

What makes the Origami Dripper great?

The Origami dripper is known for it's unique 20 ribbed folded wave style walls, it's compatible with both conical coffee filters and wave style filters which allows the pour over dripper to be brewed either conically or as a flat bottom brewer. The materials in all the porcelain Origami drippers are a unique Mino Yaki porcelain, a lightweight yet elegant addition to your brew gear.

Available in Two Sizes:

The Origami Matte Black Dripper is available in the Small (1-2 cup) and Medium (1-4 cup) size. The s size dripper can be used with 155 flat bottom filters and 1-2 cup / 01 size conical coffee filters. And the M sized dripper can be used with 185 flat bottom filters and 1-4 cup / 02 size conical coffee filters.
The Matte Black Origami dripper is compatible with all of the different Origami Dripper Rings and accessories.

Brewing Origami with Conical Filters

When brewing with conical filters, the Origami dripper will push the filter into the centre and all for water to bypass the coffee bed and fall directly into the coffee. Due to the increased bypass you are able to achieve a much faster flow rate and in-turn allows you to grind your coffee finer and extract higher.

Brewing Origami with Wave Filters

Brewing Origami drippers with a wave filter will allow the folds of the coffee filter to wrap around the Origami drippers folds and once wet, create a seal between the dripper walls and the filter paper.
This creates a much slower draw down and overall less bypass in your coffee, creating a fuller bodied coffee.
