Best Melbourne Cafes to try Pour Over Coffee
Share
If you're in Melbourne and are looking for a great coffee you may have come across pour over coffee. Pour over coffee fits under the 'filter coffee' umbrella and is usually referring to a manual brew rather than a machine batch brew. Brewing manual with a gooseneck kettle allows the barista to control all their variables and brew each coffee exactly how it is intended to taste.
At Basic Barista we specialise in souring a wide range of brewing equipment for cafes and home baristas but before you invest in a pour over set up we recommend trying pour over coffee yourself and making sure that you like it. Because of this we have compiled a list of the best Melbourne cafes and brew bars that you can try pour over coffee.
Path Melbourne - North Melbourne
Path Melbourne is situated in North Melbourne, with plenty of delicious coffees from all sorts of international coffee roasters in conjunction with their own brand of coffee beans. With pour over coffee served directly on their brew bar you can converse with the friendly baristas and learn more about the coffee you are drinking and why it tastes the way it does.
