NEW Origami Sensory Flavour Cup - Now Available in Matte Black

It's 2025 and Origami have been dropping some seriously cool new initiatives and products such as the Origami ReWork.
Origami Japan just announced that on 13th of February the Origami Sensory Cup will now be available in a matte black option.

The Sensory Flavour Cup was developed in collaboration with ORIGAMI and Du Jianing, the 2019 World Brewers Cup Champion, who used the cup to win the world championship.

This cup has a bulging body to maximise the aroma of the coffee, and the narrow part traps the aroma. Also, the shape of the cup funnels into your nose when you drink, so you can assess the aroma from the cup at it's highest intensity.

Because it has no handle, you can feel the temperature of the coffee, making it a more tactile and engaging experience that stimulates so many more senses than just your sense of taste.

From the time it was first released until now, many top baristas around the world have chosen this cup to use in coffee competitions.

Both the White and the Pink Origami Sensory cup feature a smooth glossy glazed ceramic which alters your flavour perception.

The Matte Black Origami Sensory cup has a textured feel and resembles a stone-like appearance.

The Colour:
The Origami Sensory Cup is available in 3x colours: Pink, White and Black.
Each colour allows you to experience coffee differently, the White colour allows you to asses the coffee and see the colour of the coffee impacting your flavour perception.

The Pink Origami Sensory Cup allows you to experience higher levels of perceived sweetness and still assess the colour of your coffee.

The Matte Black Origami Sensory Cup makes visually assessing the colour of your coffee much harder and challenges your other senses to taste the flavours and aromas of your coffee.
