Navigating MICE 2025 - Melbourne International Coffee Expo

MICE 2025 is a large gathering of coffee professionals, home coffee hobbyists and the general public all getting together once a year to share their love of coffee, learn something new and visit the exhibitors.

While the exhibits change quite a lot over the years you can usually expect to see coffee roasters, green bean coffee importers, milk companies and when it comes to the coffee gear side of things often coffee equipment distributors and manufacturers will be there showing off the very latest coffee equipment.

MICE runs for 3 days

This year MICE will run for three days, Day one will be trade day where the expo is open only to businesses and the following two days are open to the general public.

• Thursday 20th March 2025 (10am - 5pm)
• Friday 21st March 2025  (10am - 5pm)
• Saturday 22nd March 2025 (10am - 5pm)

Make Sure You Come Prepared!

MICE can be full on, while there is food and water accessible from food trucks at the back of the venue it's important to still come prepared.
You will drink copious amounts of coffee, most stores will offer you coffee and some of these coffees are too temping to turn down. 
Bananas are a great trick! The naturally high amounts of potassium found in bananas actually helps your body to process the caffeine (I am unsure if this is a fact or just a barista-tale but from my experience attending coffee events bananas are always present).

Here's a quick checklist of what you should bring and think about before coming to MICE: 

• Bananas - Avoid becoming Over Caffeinated 
• Bottled Water - Hydrate & Helps cleanse pallet in between coffees
• Camera / Phone - So many photo opportunities (make sure your equipment is fully charged).
• Transportation - Plan your trip ahead of time, how will you get there and how are you coming back home?

MICE will be held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Running from 10am - 5pm Thursday - Saturday.
